After I retired they sold the pumper to a church, because of the $600 dollar a year insurance on it. Go Figure, they gave up part of their history ( 1st fire truck ) for little or nothing. I will never understand the bean counters. Brought back wonderful memories and yes the kids do remember it, this Memorial day some of the kids that are bigger now asked if I could get the fire truck, and I had to tell them it was gone. My Grandson couldn't believe that Grandpa used to squirt the kids with a fire engine. Be safe out there. When we got up the next morning the cream was still alive and well. It doesn't dissolve without water. The camp host lent us some hoses and said dissolve it!
