Sometimes we look at sights in nature but don't really see. While hiking in the woods the other day, it became a realization that we need to open our heart and eyes to see the beauty of the simple things in nature with each season. There is so much order and purpose in His creation. God has given us awesome beauty in this world to see and enjoy... if we would but stop to see and feel it. White Christmas….

Gerri and I have lived in the LaGrange, Georgia area for almost 34 years and this is the first time we have had snow on Christmas day.  Now I know that is no big deal to a lot of you guys, but for this area of Georgia, that is neat.  So now when I hear “I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas”, we actually did have one.  It is  7:15 pm eastern time and still snowing too.

Again, wishing all of you a Merry Christmas!

  7. Pretty Cool! Enjoy the experience. It looks like we will be getting a blizzard here in Maine starting tomorrow night. An inch or so is nice and fun (as long as you don't have to drive in it much) - A foot or so is not quite as fun!

  15. Crazy weather indeed. A few days ago here in SW Louisiana it was in the high 70's. Now we are seeing 40's during day and 20's at night. Daughter is South Jersey is in midst of snow -up to 20 inches.

So neat that you got to enjoy a White Christmas there in Ga.
