Sometimes we look at sights in nature but don't really see. While hiking in the woods the other day, it became a realization that we need to open our heart and eyes to see the beauty of the simple things in nature with each season. There is so much order and purpose in His creation. God has given us awesome beauty in this world to see and enjoy... if we would but stop to see and feel it. Join us as this blog is about stopping to see the real beauty around us...to touch and feel it... "Through the Lens".

Blog Comments

We have been having some issues with comments being made from an Asian source that upon investigation seems to contain some less than desirable text. Because of this we are changing our comment procedure so that each comment has to be approved by us before it will appear in the blog itself.

We appreciate each person that takes the time to check out our blog and follow along on our full-time journey. We also appreciate each and every comment. It is always good to hear your comments and we value what you have to say.

We have also recently added the “Follow this Blog” section to our sidebar. If you follow our blog we hope you will take the time to sign up. We love hearing from you.

  2. I saw that Asian comment. Of course, I couldn't read what it said. It got me thinking that I should monitor the comments on my blog, so I changed mine to monitored, also.

  4. How strange...from Asia? I guess there are people out there everywhere who are intent on making nuisances of themselves. Thanks for letting us know. We'll have to keep a close eye on our blog and may have to do the same thing.

  7. You are the second person who has commented about this in the last week or so. Guess we should all change our settings. Why can't people just be nice?

  10. Definitely one of the reasons we monitor all of our comments...not taking any chances. I also check out everyone that follows us, here, or on Twitter or Facebook, just to be sure they do not have inappropriate material on their blogs.

We had someone that wanted to be our friend on Facebook but gave me no information, so instead of making them my friend, I sent a nice message asking them why they feel they want to be our friend. The reply was vulgar and really rude, so very glad we keep up on it all and am glad you took that extra step as well.
