Words cannot express our feeling of loss. Although we have never met Margie and Bruce, we considered them dear friends. Margie was usually the first to comment on our blog and always give encouragement. They were devoted to family and helping where ever there were needs, and they had a love for life. We are still in shock with this news and there is a big emptiness in our blogging family. We will miss you Margie and Bruce.
Our hearts, thoughts and prayers go to the family, may God Bless.
Thanks for the comments..this is will be an even harder nite for me..Margie and I were Amazing Race fans..we would watch it..then tomorrow morning we would email chat back and forth about the show and our weekend..I am going to try and watch it..but I don't know if I can!! I can't quit crying..
ReplyDeleteHow's Mike's family member doing? I have been praying.

ReplyDeleteI too am in shock. It was such a tragic and sudden thing.
ReplyDeleteHello Mike and Geri,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Leanne. Margie and Bruce were my former in-laws. I was married to their son, Dennis until 2006. I was reading some of the blogs that have been written by their friends and I just wanted to thank you for your kind words. Even though Dennis and I were divorced, I kept in touch with Margie and Bruce and loved them dearly. My heart is broken with this senseless tragedy.
Mike and Gerri, thank you for this post about Margie and Bruce. I am so sad. I already miss them so much. But reading what other bloggers have to say helps me realize that many are grieving, and most especially, let's continue in our prayers for Stephanie, Darrin, Dennis, Mackenzie, Zooey, and their other friends and family members.
ReplyDeleteThis has been such a sad day. Although I never them met, I felt I knew them as I feel I knew many of our blogging family.
ReplyDeleteI still can't quite grasp the fact that they are gone. So senseless.
ReplyDeleteWell said. It's such a senseless tragedy it's hard to come up with words to describe it.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a day of reflection & sadness.
ReplyDeleteI too, am still in shock. I just got done reading the many posts on their blog...at that time there were 102 comments...evidence they were well loved and will surely be missed.
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting this on your blog. I too, wrote about them and the many thoughts that have been going through my mind in the last 24 hours.
And as others have said, this is definitely a senseless tragedy.
Gerri thanks for the tribute! Your words describe it well. God Bless Bruce and Margie. RIP
ReplyDeleteA very sad day for all, this is a tragic ending for two beautiful people. Bruce & Margie will be missed.
ReplyDeleteThis has just been such a harsh thing to grasp. That one day we are all sharing and reading each other's blogs, and now suddenly two lovely people are gone.
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad for their families... what a tragic loss.
