Sometimes we look at sights in nature but don't really see. While hiking in the woods the other day, it became a realization that we need to open our heart and eyes to see the beauty of the simple things in nature with each season. There is so much order and purpose in His creation. God has given us awesome beauty in this world to see and enjoy... if we would but stop to see and feel it. Join us as this blog is about stopping to see the real beauty around us...to touch and feel it... "Through the Lens".

In Honor of Bruce & Margie

Rick, thanks for the sincerity and sensitivity of your blog today.  It is very hard to go forward, but we each must in our own way, Margie and Bruce would want nothing less.  In blogging we get to know folks through their blog and their comments, in fact, we sometimes become closer to friends in blogging than the friends we have where we live.

At this time I would like to share a few collages we have created in honor of Margie and Bruce.  If she were here, she would put some together after your tutorial on creating collages.

  1. Gerri, your collages are simply beautiful and touching, what a great tribute to two caring human beings, I know Margie will love the beauty in those pictures. I can't bear to think of the heartbreak to those two little girls, but as you know I am a pushover for any child especially Grandchildren. Please be safe out there. your friends Sam & Donna.

  15. Thanks for sharing! I love how everyone has their own way of personalizing their blog about Margie and Bruce; and how they moved forward. It's great to see how such a wonderful couple touched people in different ways even if we never had the chance to meet face to face.

    Great Job! :)

  16. It's amazing to me how someone I never met in person could effect my life so much. Margie would want us to "walk" thru our daily lives believing that our lives touch others whether we know it or not. Ya'll have certainly touched mine.
    Beautiful tribute.
    Blessings, K
