Sometimes we look at sights in nature but don't really see. While hiking in the woods the other day, it became a realization that we need to open our heart and eyes to see the beauty of the simple things in nature with each season. There is so much order and purpose in His creation. God has given us awesome beauty in this world to see and enjoy... if we would but stop to see and feel it. Join us as this blog is about stopping to see the real beauty around us...to touch and feel it... "Through the Lens".

Colors of Fall

It was such an incredibly beautiful day, so Gerri & I went for a drive and a walk to enjoy the crispness in the air as well as the array of the colors in the trees.  Instead of having a wordy blog today, I would just like to share some of the pics of what we saw.

  4. Your photos are beautiful! Our leaves have all but disappeared here in northern NY. That is, they are now on the ground and covering the roadways. Even at the end of their lifespan, I still find a beauty in them as they seem to do their best to decorate the earth one last time.

  7. Love the reds and oranges. I would miss the changing of the leaves if I lived in an area of the country that does not have that beautiful show.
