Remember when we said we had bluebirds building a nest? Well she never laid her eggs and never returned to that nest. Later this season, she started another nest in a different bluebird house. This time she laid four eggs and all four bluebirds have hatched. They haven’t left the nest yet, but are growing and getting stronger daily. We watch them every so often during the week, she is very kind to let us have a peak.
We hope everyone is having a great weekend!
How cute! That is so amazing that you got such great photos. Mom is beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteWe have had a Wren here, making a nest..we have reduced the price, added amenities, and still he chooses other properties...LOVE the Bluebird babies...I live vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteWhere we were staying earlier in the week we were in a very wooded site. I got out my binoculars and searched for birds. Saw few but heard lots. Then the second day I looked up and saw a fat Robin on a nest. Short time later his/her relief came and off he/she flew.
ReplyDeleteGood shots, as usual.
Neat pics - thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new arrivals. Wish you all the best in the coming years. Hope you enjoy grandparenting the babies. And who knows, maybe you'll have four nests next year and become great grandparents. You sure do have purdy birds in your back yard.
