We are still here waiting for a couple of parts to be shipped in from a supplier, so we chose this time to do some more exploring on the Trace. We gathered some snacks for a lunch outing and off we went. Rather than go into a lot of details, we thought we would share some of our pics with you.
We pulled off at this area and looked over the ridge and found this great lunch place |
Another view from the parking area |
After lunch we walked along the creekside |
After lunch we ventured further down and found this view |
We found a pull out for a drive on the Old Natchez Trace |
This was beautiful and can only imagine the history of this |
Another pull out with this beautiful creek |
This is another Old Trace area called the SunkenTrail |
It is called Sunken Trail because of the many that traveled this route |
We hope you have enjoyed traveling with us on the Trace.
So many beautiful trails, views and picnic areas on the Trace, sure looks like you are enjoying it there.
