Today they finally fixed all the rut damage from the storms a week and a half ago. Hey progress is progress and now our campers can and will be safe.
Along with the season, our time at FDR State Park is coming to an end. We are putting together a trip for the next couple of months and will let you know when we have fully decided our route. Before we go, we are going to do some computer work for the local campground we camp in when we come to this area. Hope everybody has a great weekend, and thanks for joining with us.
Nice pictures. Glad I do not own the tractor.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you that your weather was a bit cooler tonight. Fantastic (awesome) photos! I will be interested to see where you go next.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset and flower, do you know what it is called? Glad the park damage was repaired. What happened to the blue tractor?
ReplyDeletewonderful pics today!!.glad the weather has improved for you!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are finally getting a respite from the hot weather! It is beautiful here as well, but I think the humidity it supposed to return next week, so we will enjoy the cool temperatures while they are here.
ReplyDeleteI love the sunset picture.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if that is a round blue hard drive computer flower? The center part looks like a round wafer board out of a computer or something. Neat-O. Maybe when the water level drops a bit that tractor can just pull itself out of there. Our temps have dropped as well over here in Ontario & it feels just sooooooo great again not to enclosed by that oppressive heat!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures,,,,what a beautiful flower! The tractor picture makes one wonder what the story is!!
ReplyDeleteGlad its cooler for you...
Glad to hear your weather broke, we are getting about 85-90 gegrees now but not the killer het indexes and humidity, When you get your tractor stuck it usually takes another tractor to get you out or maybe that backhoe in the other picture. Hope yo get to head north for a coupke of months maybe we will see you in your travels. Be safe out there.. Sam & Donna.
ReplyDeleteReally nice photos...
ReplyDeleteMike, Ya just gotta stay off those tractors. Now see what you've gone and done!!! Looking forward to hearing your travel plans. Let's plan to meet up somewhere and go to the Escapade together.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunset. Progress is sometimes slow. We are coming up on the two year anniversary of Hurricane Ike and some people still haven't done anything with their property.

I know what you mean -- we actually ate dinner outside on our deck last night, because it was SO nice out!!
ReplyDeleteJust make sure those travel plans include being at Pine Mountain CG the weekend after Thanksgiving!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - the sunset one is spectacular! I guess there are some places that even tractors should fear to tread!
ReplyDeleteAnxious to see where you head next.
ReplyDeleteCooler up here too. Expecting about 84 today. SOOOO much better than those dreaded high 90's.
What in the world is that crazy blue flower? Great pics tonight. Be cool! :)
ReplyDeleteIt would really suck to be the tractor driver..That would be just my luck. I'll bet you are glad to be "on the move" again...The longest we have stayed anywhere was 2 months...and we were both ready to BOLT! Looking forward to you travels....Nice pictures!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures.. Bet you are anxious to get on the road again. Look forward to hearing your plans....
ReplyDeleteYour sunset pic is absolutely the best ever. Glad your weather cooled off a bit. Can't wait to read about where you will be going next!
